Originally, copywriting is not creating any new content: the content remains the same, only the “form” changes. Copywriting is writing a copy of the existing content.
Nowadays, there are so many marketing channels. But end-users do not like reading the same product or service description on each channel. It must be different, though. It does not even need to have a different structure; it is all about the wording.
Another reason for writing content copies are the search engines. They recognize duplicate content — the same text posted on more than one online resource — as a reason to punish your web site and let it degrade inside their search results.
To prevent it and keep your online store visible for the customers, you need to paraphrase your product descriptions.
Although I am mainly interested in copywriting for technical companies, I am open to new projects as well.
