An IoT company wanted to help customers monitor the connectivity of their devices (cars, fridges, etc.).
The company had a guide explaining how to create an Azure Event Hub. My task was to write a how-to walking them through the installation of Azure Time Series Insights, the classic version.
I have created my own Hub following the existing guide. Then I made a Time Series Environment and connected the Hub to it. In the Time Series Insights Explorer, I queried the connectivity data, built several visualizations, and put them into a so-called perspective — an Azure TSI Explorer dashboard.
I, therefore, acted as both a technical writer and an Azure consultant. Although I had not worked with Azure before, I quickly learned it and delivered a step-by-step installation guide with screenshots.
